I’ve hit the gap between really good movies, so the list of recently viewed on DVD is rather weak, of that list here is what I liked of what is recently out:
Saw - horror/suspense with great premise and cast, Psycho sets you up in situations where you must do something horrific within a time limit to save your life.  Cary Elwes and Danny Glover.

Story of the Weeping Camel - Mother camel shuns newborn white calf, farmers try to get her to accept calf, resort to getting musician from distant village to come play that causes mother camel to weep and accept the calf.  More like a documentary? inside look to life in the Gobi desert of Mongolia

Without a Paddle - sophmoric buddy comedy, think a comedy version of Deliverence mixed in with treasure hunt for DB Cooper’s loot. Ok soundtrack, I downloaded "Oh La La" as a result.

Man, this was a horrible year for Michigan Basketball.  It was supposed to be the year we made it to the tourney.  Instead, injury and legal problems left us short our 2 starting guards.  The team finished with a losing record and bowed out to traditional doormat Northwestern in the Big Ten Tourney.  Amaker better turn it around next year, hopefully we finally have a decent recruiting class.
